Satori is the Japanese term for enlightenment, which brings inner peace and joy. Traditionally approached by meditation, Satori is the spiritual goal of Zen Buddhism; however, Satori can be experienced by anyone at any time. You too can begin to experience more peace and joy in your life simply by taking a few minutes each day to experience iSatori. iSatori was created as an aid to individual Satori, awareness, and presence.
Featuring 30 original flower photographs by nature photographer Debi Worley, iSatori will display a new flower every day for you to practice with. After a month it will recycle through the photographs.
Instructions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you look at the flower try to simply "experience" it, without judging it as good or bad or comparing it to something else, simply study it. Do not attach yourself to any thoughts that do arise while studying the flower, simply let them pass over you while focusing on the intricate details of the flower. Soon you will begin to feel a subtle stillness, peace, or calm. As you practice daily, this feeling will begin to become more intense. Some people will actually laugh out loud the first time that they feel the deep sense of inner joy known as Satori. You will know when you feel it, and it will begin to make its way into other aspects of your day to day life.
By experiencing the elegant simplicity of iSatori every day for a month, you will begin to notice more peace, calm, and awareness in your everyday life.
Be easy with yourself, and enjoy the flowers!
